About Shirisha

The Philosophy

Hi, I’m Shirisha, and I’m known to clients and friends as Siri.
I’ve spent far too many hours at work, wondering if I was doing enough, if I should be doing more, and if what I was doing was even valued. I spent so many years at work with a sub-optimal feeling of satisfaction. I was grateful for the job, the role, and the pay because I had never expected to be where I was, but there was a gap.

I did not have the bandwidth or time to work with this underlying dissatisfaction. As a trained coach, I wanted to explore this with a coach. But as I looked to find the right kind of coach, I found that coaches were super expensive. One session with a good coach costs anywhere from $100 to $400.

My Philosophy

Harnessing Your Potential

As I searched for someone to work with, I finally met my teacher, whose philosophy deeply resonated with me. Her work revolves around making therapy accessible and affordable to people of all social strata. As I worked with myself under her guidance, it was enormously life-changing to go at my own pace and work through stuff rather than being rushed through it because each session cost me $150 for 60 minutes.

The mundane things had a big significance in our session. I have had major breakthroughs exploring mundane things than I have by examining what I thought were significant issues.

This is the inspiration that led me to start Saner Work Life. Right now, coaching is priced at a rate of $100 to $400 worldwide (ICF, an international coaching body, suggests a minimum of $100 for a 60-minute session), which makes it not very easily accessible to regular people.

My aspiration is to make coaching affordable and accessible to regular people so that it is not a luxury to be able to find satisfaction in our personal and professional lives. The luxury to just be and explore things at their own pace without the coaching draining their bank accounts in the blink of an eye.

This is my dream with Saner Work Life.
